It depends on the individual and the type of culture. Certain cultural groups base their beliefs and way of life on traditional cultural views. For this type of groups, culture can determine marriage and family views, choice of profession, attitudes to eating and exercise- virtually every aspect of life.

Other cultural groups see culture as less relevant to their everyday life. For this type of groups, individuals might choose to live a life, which benefits from all cultures, or base life on other personal or scientific beliefs.
