My biggest strength in psychology/research has been embracing statistics and data analysis. It’s an area many psychologists don’t enjoy, so its been a useful skill to help other people in their projects.
My biggest weakness is I struggle to say no. Its not trying to pass it off as a positive like “my weakness is I’m too helpful” but I will make time to pick up extra tasks or help other people even when I have my own stuff that is more of a priority.
Strengths – very organised/structured, compassionate and knowledge-driven
Weaknesses – restricted interests, rigid with schedules/change and prone to overthinking
Biggest strength – I’m very organised – I love a good plan and always have to-do lists to help me get stuff done.
Biggest weakness – I get easily overwhelmed & when I do, I struggle to break big tasks down into small manageable tasks. This also makes me worry a lot.
My strengths are in planning and organisation. I’m good at planning out the steps that need to be taken in order to complete a research project, and in ensuring that those steps happen. I’m also good at problem solving when things don’t go the way I’d planned.
One of my biggest weaknesses is that I don’t have a lot of self confidence – I found it easier to come up with weaknesses than strengths because I’m always too hard on myself! This can mean I sometimes find it hard to make decisions, especially when there are lots of options to choose from.
